찬송하리로다 그는 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 하나님이시요 자비의 아버지시요 모든 위로의 하나님이시며우리의 모든 환난 중에서 우리를 위로하사 우리로 하여금 하나님께 받는 위로로써 모든 환난 중에 있는 자들을 능히 위로하게 하시는 이시로다 (고후 1:3-4)   Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort,who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.

여호와는 그의 얼굴을  네게 비추사 은혜 베푸시기를 원하며 ( 민 6:25) the LORD make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you

그들은 사람의 영광을 하나님의 영광보다 더 사랑하였더라 (요 12:43)  for they loved praise from men more than praise from God.

그러므로 내일 일을 위하여 염려하지 말라 내일 일은 내일이 염려할  것이요 한 날의 괴로움은 그 날로 족하니라. (마 6: 34)  Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

사랑은 오래참고 사랑은 온유하며 시기하지 아니하며 사랑은 자랑하지 아니하며 교만하지 아니하며 (고전 13:4)  Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.

내가 사망의 음침한 골짜기로 다닐지라도 해를 두려워하지 않을 것은 주께서 나와 함께 하심이라 주의 지팡이와 막대기가 나를 안위하시나이다 (시 23:4)   Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

들으라 너희 중에 말하기를 오늘이나 내일이나 우리가 어떤 도시에 가서 거기서 일 년을 머물며 장사하여 이익을 보리라 하는 자들아내일 일을 너희가 알지 못하는도다 너희 생명이 무엇이냐 너희는 잠깐 보이다가 없어지는 안개니라 (약 4:13-14)   Now listen, you who say, "Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money."Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.   

이  하나님이 힘으로 내게 띠 띠우시며 내 갈 길을 완전하게 하시며 (시 18:32)It is God who arms me with strength and makes my way perfect.

하나님이 도는 완전하고 여호와의 말씀은 진실하니 그는 자기에게 피하는 모든 자에게 방패시로다. (삼하 22:31)  "As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is flawless. He is a shield for all who take refuge in him.

옛적에 여호와께서 나에게 나타나사 내가 영원한 사랑으로 너를 사랑하기에 인자함으로 너를 이끌었다 하였노라. (렘 31:3) The LORD appeared to us in the past, saying: "I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving-kindness.

악에게 지지 말고 선으로 악을 이기라. (롬 12:21) Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

수고하고 무거운 짐 진자들아 다 내게로 오라 네가 너희를 쉬게 하리라. (마 11:28) "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
