기도를 계속하고 기도에 감사함으로 깨어 있으라 (골 4:2)Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.

내가 볼 때에 그의 발 앞에 엎드러져 죽은 자 같이 되매 그가 오른손을 내게 얹고 이르시되 두려워하지 말라 나는 처음이요 마지막이니곧 살아 있는 자라 내가 전에 죽었었노라 볼지어다 이제 세세토록 살아 있어 사망과 음부의 열쇠를 가졌노니 (계 1:17-18)   When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. Then he placed his right hand on me and said: "Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last.I am the Living One; I was dead, and behold I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades.

산들이 떠나며 언덕들은 옮겨질지라도 나의 자비는 네게서 떠나지 아니하며 나의 화평의 언약은 흔들리지 아니하리라 너를 긍휼히 여기시는 여호와께서 말씀하셨느니라. (사 54:0)   Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed," says the LORD, who has compassion on you.

이러므로 우리에게 구름 같이 둘러싼 허다한 증인들이 있으니 모든 무거운 것과 얽매이기 쉬운 죄를 벗어 버리고 인내로써 우리 앞에 당한 경주를 하며믿음의 주요 또 온전하게 하시는 이인 예수를 바라보자 그는 그 앞에 있는 기쁨을 위하여 십자가를 참으사 부끄러움을 개의치 아니하시더니 하나님 보좌 우편에 앉으셨느니라 (히 12:1-2) Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

만군의 여호와여 주의 장막이 어찌 그리 사랑스러운지요내 영혼이 여호와의 궁정을 사모하여 쇠약함이여 내 마음과 육체가 살아 계시는 하나님께 부르짖나이다 (시 84:1-2)   How lovely is your dwelling place, O LORD Almighty!My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the LORD; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.

또 주께서 주의 구원하는 방패를 내게 주시며 주의 오른손이 나를 붙들고 주의 온유함이 나를 크게 하셨나이다 (시 18:35)    You give me your shield of victory, and your right hand sustains me; you stoop down to make me great.

이 하나님은 영원히 우리 하나님이시니 그가 우리를 죽을 때까지 인도 하시리로다. (시 48:14)For this God is our God for ever and ever; he will be our guide even to the end.

모든 기도와 간구를 하되 항상 성령 안에서 기도하고 이를 위하여 깨어 구하기를 항상 힘쓰며 여러 성도를 위하여 구하라. (엡 6:18) And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.

여호와는 나의 힘과 나의 방패이시니 내 마음이 그를 의지하여 도움을 얻었도다 그럼므로 내 마음이 크게 기뻐하며 내 노래로 그를 찬송하리로다. (시 28:7)The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to him in song.

그에 대하여 모든 선지자도 증언하되 그를 믿는 사람들이 다 그의 이르믈 힘입어 죄 사함을 받는다 하였는니라 . (행 10:43)All the prophets testify about him that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name."

만일 우리가 우리 죄를 자백하면 그는 미쁘시고 의로우사 우리 죄를 사하시며 우리를 모든 불의에서 깨끗하게 하실 것이요 (요일 1:9)   If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

예수께서 이르시되 네 마음을 다하고 목숨을 다하고 뜻을 다하여 주 너의 하나님을 사랑하라 하셨으니이것이 크고 첫째 되는 계명이요 (마 22:37-38)   Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment.

이것을 너희에게 이르는 것은 너희로 내 안에서 평안을 누리게 하려 함이라 세상에서는 너희가 환난을 당하나 담대하라 내가 세상을 이기었노라 (요 16:33)   "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."

너희 중에 누구든지 지혜가 부족하거든 모든 사람에게 후히 주시고 꾸짖지 아니하시는 하나님께 구하라 그리하면 주시리라 (약 1:5)   If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.
