하나님이여 주의 인자하심이 어찌 그리 보배로우신지요 인생이 주의 날개 그늘 아래 피하나이다 (시 36:7)   How priceless is your unfailing love! Both high and low among men find refuge in the shadow of your wings.

그 안에는 지혜와 지식의 모든 보화가 감추어져 있느니라 (골 2:3)in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

태초에 말씀이 계시니라 이 말씀이 하나님과 함께 계셨으니 이 말씀은 곧 하나님이시니라 (요 1:1)    In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

광야에 외치는 자의 소리가 있어 이르되 너희는 주의 길을 준비하라 그의 오실 길을 곧게 하라 기록된 것과 같이 (막 1:3)   "a voice of one calling in the desert, 'Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him.' "

오직 여호와를 앙망하는 자는 새 힘을 얻으리니 독수리가 날개치며 올라감 같을 것이요 달음박질하여도 곤비하지 아니하겠고 걸어가도 피곤하지 아니하리로다 ( 사 40:31)   but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

예수께서 또 말씀하여 이르시되 나는 세상의 빛이니 나를 따르는 자는 어둠에 다니지 아니하고  생명의 빛을 얻으리라 (요 8:12)   When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."

우리 주 예수 그리스도의 은혜를 너희가 알거니와 부요하신 이로서 너희를 위하여 가난하게 되심은 그의 가난함으로 말미암아 너희를 부요하게 하려 하심이라 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.  (고후 8:9 )   For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich.  

내가 여호와로 말미암아 크게 기뻐하며 내 영혼이 나의 하나님으로 말미암아 즐거워하리니 이는 그가 구원의 옷을 내게 입히시며 공의의 겉옷을 내게 더하심이 신랑이 사모를 쓰며 신부가 자기 보석으로 단장함 같게 하셨음이라 (이사야 61:10)   I delight greatly in the LORD; my soul rejoices in my God. For he has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

보라 처녀가 잉태하여 아들을 낳을 것이요 그의 이름은 임마누엘이라 하리라 하셨으니 이를 번역한즉 하나님이 우리와 함께 계시다 함이라 (마 1:23)   "The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel"--which means, "God with us."

이는 한 아기가 우리에게 났고 한 아들을 우리에게 주신 바 되었는데 그의 어깨에는 정사를 메었고 그의 이름은 기묘자라, 모사라, 전능하신 하나님이라, 영존하시는 아버지라, 평강의 왕이라 할 것임이라 (사 9:6)   For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

우리의 능력이 되시는 하나님을 향하여 기쁘게 노래하며 야곱의 하나님을 향하여 즐거이 소리칠지어다(시 81:1)   Sing for joy to God our strength; shout aloud to the God of Jacob!

 ​그 지역에 목자들이 밤에 밖에서 자기 양 떼를 지키더니 주의 사자가 곁에 서고 주의 영광이 그들을 두루 비추매 크게 무서워하는지라 천사가 이르되 무서워하지 말라 보라 내가 온 백성에게 미칠 큰 기쁨의 좋은 소식을 너희에게 전하노라 (눅 2:8-10 )   And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night.An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified.But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people.

믿음의 주요 또 온전케 하시는 이인 예수를 바라보자 저는 그 앞에 있는 즐거움을 위하여 십자가를 참으사 부끄러움을 개의치 아니하시더니 하나님 보좌 우편에 앉으셨느니라너희가 피곤하여 낙심치 않기 위하여 죄인들의 이같이 자기에게 거역한 일을 참으신 자를 생각하라 (히 12:2-3)     Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.
