하갈이 자기에게 이르신 여호와의 이름을 나를 살피시는 하나님이라 하였으니 이는 내가 어떻게 여기서 나를 살피시는 하나님을 뵈었는고 함이라이러므로 그 샘을 브엘라해로이라 불렀으며 그것은 가데스와 베렛 사이에 있더라 (창 16:13-14)   She gave this name to the LORD who spoke to her: "You are the God who sees me," for she said, "I have now seen the One who sees me."That is why the well was called Beer Lahai Roi ; it is still there, between Kadesh and Bered.

예수께서 외쳐 이르시되 나를 믿는 자는 나를 믿는 것이 아니요 나를 보내신 이를 믿는 것이며나를 보는 자는 나를 보내신 이를 보는 것이니라 (요 12:44-45)   Then Jesus cried out, "When a man believes in me, he does not believe in me only, but in the one who sent me. When he looks at me, he sees the one who sent me.

내 걸음을 넓게 하셨고 나를 실족하지 않게 하셨나이다 (시 18:36)   You broaden the path beneath me, so that my ankles do not turn.

고난 받는 자는 그 날이 다 험악하나 마음이 즐거운 자는 항상 잔치하느니라 (잠 15:15)   All the days of the oppressed are wretched, but the cheerful heart has a continual feast.  

여호와 그가 네 앞서 행하시며 너와 함께하사 너를 떠나지 아니하시며 버리지 아니하시리니 너는 두려워 말라 놀라지 말라 (신 31:8)   The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged."

나는 여호와를 인하여 즐거워하며 나의 구원의 하나님을 인하여 기뻐하리로다. (합 3:18)   yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in God my Savior.

우리 주 예수 그리스도의 아버지 하나님을 찬송하리로다 그의 많으신 긍휼대로 예수 그리스도를 죽은 자 가운데서 부활하게 하심으로 말미암아 우리를 거듭나게 하사 산 소망이 있게 하시며썩지 않고 더럽지 않고 쇠하지 아니하는 유업을 잇게 하시나니 곧 너희를 위하여 하늘에 간직하신 것이라 (벧전 1:3-4)   Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade--kept in heaven for you,

그들이 주를 앙망하고 광채를 내었으니 그들의 얼굴은 부끄럽지 아니하리로다. (시 34:5)  Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame. 

주는 나의 도움이 되셨음이라 내가 주의 날개 그늘에서 즐겁게 부르리이다나의 영혼이 주를 가까이 따르니 주의 오른손이 나를 붙드시거니와(시 63:7-8)   Because you are my help, I sing in the shadow of your wings.My soul clings to you; your right hand upholds me.

우리 영혼이 여호와를 바람이여 그는 우리의 도움과 방패시로다(시 33:20)   We wait in hope for the LORD; he is our help and our shield.

항상 기뻐하라쉬지 말고 기도하라범사에 감사하라 이것이 그리스도 예수 안에서 너희를 향하신 하나님의 뜻이니라 (살전 5:16-18)   Be joyful always;pray continually;give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.

즐겁게 소리칠 줄 아는 백성은 복이 있나니 여호와여 그들이 주의 얼굴 빛 안에서 다니리로다. (시 89:15)Blessed are those who have learned to acclaim you, who walk in the light of your presence, O LORD.

여호와께 노래하여 그의 이름을 송축하며 그의 구원을 날마다 전파할지어다그의 영광을 백성들 가운데에, 그의 기이한 행적을 만민 가운데에 선포할지어다 ( 시 96:2-3)   Sing to the LORD, praise his name; proclaim his salvation day after day.Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples.

주의 인자하심이 생명보다 나으므로 내 입술이 주를 찬양할 것이라. (시 63:3)Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you.
